Salary: £33,600 – £40,800 per year
Our client is a leading firm of Consulting Engineers with a strong presence in the London and South East region. They are looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Graduate Structural Engineer for their London office.
The ideal Candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic approach and be a team player. You will likely have a minimum of a M.Eng Civil Engineering degree of equivalent. The candidate should ideally have around 1-2 years post graduate experience with a UK consultancy.
The ideal candidates should have:
– A sound understanding of technical structural engineering issues.
– Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
– Must show technical ability in the design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures with supervision.
– Show understanding or awareness of British Standards.
– Be proficient in the use of relevant structural software.
– Be motivated, reliable, proactive and be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
A generous salary will be awarded, which will be negotiable depending on level of experience and ability, but is likely to be in the region of £33,600 – £40,800p.a. + benefits. Excellent prospects for future career progression as well as assistance to work towards Chartered status.
