Senior Shift Maintenance Electrician Required – Data Centre – D

SENIOR SHIFT MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN REQUIRED – DATA CENTRE – DOCKLAND’S – £39K

An excellent opportunity to work for the UK’s leading maintenance provider on one of their premier sites, providing electrical maintenance within a data centre environment has arisen. This is one of the Largest Data Centre’s in Europe so a very unique opportunity to work on a state of the art data centre. The site is based in the Dockland’s, however cover of other critical sites maybe required. You will be required to perform all electrical PPM’s and reactive maintenance on site.

Key responsibilities will be based on PPM and reactive maintenance, carrying out plant room checks and ensuring availability to the business critical area. You will be responsible for liaising with specialist contractors and more general housekeeping. Typical duties will include HVAC, UPS, BMS, stand-by power generation and LV / HV electrical distribution systems.

You will be working on a 4 man shift so you must have data centre experience and critical experience essentially with HV Authorisation that is current.

Hours of Work:

The shift pattern will be 06.30 to 06.30 days and nights shift pattern, continental shift rota.

Qualifications:

City & Guilds 236 Part I&II & 16th / 17th edition IEE Regulations
Extensive commercial building maintenance experience essential
Experience within a data centre environment
Ability to remain calm in a high pressure business critical environment
HV Authorised – ESSENTIAL
