Overhead Linesman – Telecoms/Civils
Salary: £180 – £360per day
Location: Cornwall, Devon,Somerset
What will this role involve?
Work as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation ofcompany operations and carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the business
Liaise with third parties to ensure the smooth implementation of work
Maintain in good working order issued vehicles, tools and equipment
Maintain awareness of and conform to Health, Safety Environmental & Quality Standards (HSEQ)
Maintain site safety at all times and complete daily risk assessments where required
Report any concerns regarding HSEQ to the HSEQ team and your Manager and ensure that accidents and near misses are suitably reported
Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments
Complete all work to high standards
Maintain and develop own competence in accordance with legislative changes and customer requirements
Person Specification
Driving licence
First Aid certificate/qualification
Ability to follow and adhere to instructions and relevant safety policies and procedures
Manual Handling
Working at Height
IPAF Operation
NRSWA Operative
Chainsaw Certification
