Data Administrator
The Estates Department of Hft has recently implemented QL, a new Estates Property and Housing Management IT System. QL is the primary Hft database for all property and people we support data which will subsequently interface with other internal IT systems.
Position: Data Analyst / Administrator
Location: Emersons Green, Bristol
Hours: 35 per week
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: £26,000per year plus benefits
About the role:
As the Data Analyst / Administrator, you will be responsible for sourcing and updating all property and housing data, ensuring that the database meets the needs of the Estates and Facilities Department as well as members of other departments, and assisting in the implementation of any further phases of the system. You will plan, extract and analyse data, develop strategies for managing data anomalies and troubleshoot the processes for maintaining an up-to-date position at all times.
You will be the primary administrator of QL, building and maintaining any new reports based on the systems data as required, supporting all QL users and ensure data is as accurate and up to date as possible. You will also provide administration support for the Estates & Facilities Department and Capital Project Team. The role has good potential for development due to Hft`s commitment to ongoing IT infrastructure improvements.
About you:
To be successful, you will need to have good communication skills, as you will be working with other departments to gather data and distribute it to the correct individuals. You will also need proven experience of managing a database, confidence in using a variety of IT resources, and have excellent time management skills in order to carry out a number of tasks with differing priorities.
