Key Account Executive – Textiles

Salary: £30,000 – £34,800 per year

Opportunity to join a fast-moving merchandising team for a leading home textile company.

We are looking for someone with experience in trend and forecast analysis within a retail or e-commerce environment. Ability to interpret information & make decisions to maximise sales and stock efficiency is essential. An enthusiastic person who enjoys building strong customer relationships and working as part of a team.

Your day to day role will be:

• Create/maintain weekly excel stock sheets
• Manage customer stock forecast and identify sales trends and patterns
• Work with stock team to ensure customer needs and stock forecasts are met
• Work with customer to promote products and generate sales
• Prepare any departmental reports as requested
• Assist in the development and growth of business 
• Create customer specific quote sheets / sales materials /range documents
• Check customer websites and ensure product listings are correct- images, titles, texts etc to optimise sales.
• Up sell/cross sell products wherever possible – identify missing sales trends
• Maintain and build high level relationships with major client accounts
• Communicate with customers on a daily basis via phone/email to ensure high customer service levels are maintained
• Attend customer meetings and visits
• Create/maintain internal system – raise product codes, barcodes, update customer and factory pricelists, update product and customer specific information
• Raise customer sales orders on internal system
• Work with warehouse to ensure customer orders are delivered on time
• Support Sales Admin/Warehouse
• Liaise with Sales Managers and Directors on a daily basis
• Update Bars (internal image systems)
• Any other duties to support Sales Office Manager
