Pharmacy Stores Operative / Delivery Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Stores Operative /Delivery Driver for our NHS Trust Client based in Sheffield.

This is a full time ongoing temporary position.

This job role includes-

Drive the Pharmacy van around the site in order to distribute pharmaceuticals and bulk fluids.

Responsibility for the distribution and control of medical/industrial gases to wards, units and departments. To carry a bleep for all emergency requests. Liaise with medical staff in relation to these products.

To maintain appropriate stocks of pharmaceuticals in wards and departments using established stock control and ordering processes and liaise with hospital staff at all levels.

Responsibility for the accurate input of computer data relating to the supply and receipt of pharmaceuticals, bulk fluids and renal products whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and do minor repairs and top ups as required (eg, replace bulbs, fuses, oil, water, refuel). Report any defects in equipment and vehicles.

Applicants must hold a Valid driving licence with a minimum of 12 months experience.

Employment is subject to a DBS check with a clear return.
