Salary: £26,000 per year
Direct Response Employment Services are pleased to be supporting one of our clients in Melksham in the recruitment of a Despatch Operative who has a valid Counterbalance forklift license to join the team.
This is a busy role where you will be required to work 40 hours per work on a rotational shift basis of 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday.
As a despatch operative you will be required to carry out duties within a safe, consistent and reliable manner and to ensure finished goods are packed, ready for despatch and that all relevant paperwork is completed and available as required.
You will also be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, Operation of the pallet wrapping machine and operating the forklift as and when required.
You will also ensure the production area remains clean and tidy, maintaining good house keeping and ensure you comply to all health and safety regulations on site.
To be considered for this role you will have some previous experience in a similar environment and will hold a valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
