The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment have been awarded a contract with a leading legal firm in Edinburgh to recruit a Senior tax specialist. The organisation is one of the most prominent legal firms in the world! Due to an organisational review and subsequent restructure, our client has engaged with us in the recruitment of a senior tax associate to join the business on a permanent basis. The firm offer a spread of work that spans mergers & acquisitions, tax planning, investment appraisal, client advisory / legal compliance work throughout the UK for the successful applicant.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to provide tax services to a blend of clients throughout the United Kingdom. You will be supporting the legal tax layers in specialist tax advice that will be both tax efficient and legally compliant. Your client portfolio will be vast and cover a large number of industry sectors. You will be accountable for mainly corporate tax advice and support however you may be involved in more specific tax advisory projects including personal tax, trust deeds, limited partnerships and dividends for limited company owners.
The Requirements
We are seeking a CA/ACA qualified accountant who ideally holds a CTA qualification also. The work that will be completed will be at a senior level and we would expect to see applications from candidate who are either working in the public practice (big 4 or a mid-tier firm), or who are working in a legal practice performing a similar role. The client in return offers a fantastic opportunity to grow with an international brand, to travel/relocate (when permitted by government guidance), globally. Our client is flexible in respect to the PQE experience that we require for the role and will look at candidates from 2 years PQE upwards. As such the salary will range from high £48,000`s to high £80,000`s.
