Salary: £31,200 – £37,200 per year

Workshop Engineer – Commercial Vehicles

Pay – depending on experience

+ Bonus after 12 months service

+ 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays

+ Overtime – when available

Due to continued growth, a commercial vehicle hire company are now keen to appoint 3 experienced and qualified workshop engineers.

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY

* Professionally recognised and relevant qualification

* NOT essential, experience servicing and prepping vehicles to MOT standard

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge

* Beneficial but not critical – HGV or Tanker experience

* Ideally small plant experience

* Proven Fault finding and problem-solving skills

* Understand compliance with statutory and company own policy service/inspection schedules

* Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure

THE ROLE – BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of vehicles and other company equipment.
• Ensuring that all routine maintenance or repair work is the subject of an accurate and timely written report including details of parts used and time taken on a work record card.
• Examine vehicles and other company equipment and report verbally or in writing regarding their condition.
