Dealership Accounts Assistant

My client is a Prestige Division of a highly reputable International Group, due to internal promotion they now have a vacancy for an experienced Assistant Accountant.

Reporting into the Site Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be working from the plush offices in Solihull, with Duties Including:

• Management of Company Bank Accounts and Monitor Transactions worth Millions on a Daily basis
• Bank and Statement Reconciliations and analysis of Discrepancies
• Daily Banking and Transferring of Funds via BACS and CHAPS / Ad Hoc Payment of Suppliers
• Control Company Petty Cash and Cash Books
• Responsible for company Assets Register
• Processing of Utility payments, Accruals and Pre-Payments
• Detailed Reporting and analysis using MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and Look Ups
• Intercompany Accounting, including Charges and Recharges to group
• Assist Site Finance Manager with Ad Hoc duties at Year and Month End

The ideal candidate will have a broad level overview of accounting principles with an interest in study towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA if not already Qualified.
