AGV Installation Engineer
RMGroup specialise in the supply of process and packaging machinery to various industries around the UK, Ireland and beyond. The company has grown rapidly within the last few years and we are continually looking for aspiring individuals to join our dynamic team. Our recent partnership with a leading global supplier of AGV’s has allowed us to create several positions within the business for AGV engineers.
The current role is for installations engineers, working across the UK on various projects for customers in varying industries.
AGV Installation Engineer Successful Candidates will be responsible for:
* Installation of AGV circuitry on customers sites, including laying magnetic tape, docking stations, and charging points. Basic mechanical and electrical work included.
* Engineers may also be involved with programming the AGV’s via SCADA system, with the view to becoming more advanced engineers in time.
* Completing machinery sign offs and training checklists wherever required.
* Reporting directly to the project manager and senior engineer on site.
* Liaising with customers on site on project progress.
* Responsible for site Health and Safety – Working to relevant Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all works carried out on site.
* Reading layout drawings as per installation requirement.
AGV Installation Engineer Desired Qualifications, Skills and attributes:
* Knowledge and experience of installing and maintaining AGV’s desirable, though not essential. Training will be given.
* Electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience. PLC programming knowledge desirable.
* Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain customer relationships in order to maintain a high level of customer service.
* Full UK driving licence.
RMGroup supply and install machinery in and around the UK, Ireland and worldwide, therefore candidates will be expected to work away. Applicants must be flexible and adaptable to changing work schedules.
Hours: +45 Hours, Monday-Friday.
Salary: Dependant on experience.
Included: PPE, Uniform, Pension, Overnight Allowance, Accommodation and meals paid
