Based in leafy surroundings on the Hampshire/Dorset coastal border, my client is a well established Leisure & Tourism specialist who are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketer to join their existing, small team. This is a permanent job ideal for a Marketer with spark and enthusiasm for all things digital. The core responsibility of the job is to initiate and manage engaging online campaigns, working out which social media sites would yield the best response and conversion-to-booking/spend rate from potential customers and running them with flair! You’ll be inventive and commercially savvy with a real focus on increasing visitor numbers. You’ll have the ability to analyse response rates, increase rankings and provide insight into how things can be improved to increase RoI. SEO knowledge would be highly desirable but a basic practical understanding would be considered as you’ll be working alongside a dedicated SEO/PPC agency to help with the really techie side. You’ll take part in some blogging and content creation projects alongside the rest of the team and you’ll have a say in the creative process, too.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing, who will be there to assist you where necessary, you’ll be sharing innovative ideas with them and working on new social media strategies together. It’s essential that you’ve had a minimum of 1 years’ hands-on experience in a similar, social media and conversion driven role. A Marketing degree isn’t a ‘must’ as it’s more important that you’re a career driven Marketer who is clearly passionate about online Marketing. However, the offices are located a little out of the way of public transport routes so having your own car is a essential. Sound interesting?
