Salary: £72,000 per year
Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a General Manager for a business to business environmental services company. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of c£60k with an OTE of £72,000.
The successful candidate will have had experience in a senior leadership role or as a General Manager or MD ideally in the business-to-business services sector. You will have a solid understanding of business functions including HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Operations. You will be able to demonstrate competency in strategic planning as well as analytical and financial skills. Your personality will be highly driven and self-motivated with the ability to remain calm under pressure. The ability to be decisive, prioritise and be able to problem solve is essential.
The General Managers key responsibilities will be:
* Manage 4 direct reports; Marketing Manager, Customer Services Manager, Sales Manager and Operations Manager
* Design and implement strategic plans in line with the MD’s vision
* Ensure the leadership team and accountable for company vision and goals
* Lead the team to execute plans to ensure goals targets and growth are achieved.
* Manage the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business ensuring ROI and profitability
* Always measuring processes across the business to ensure efficient and affective
* Evaluating performances by evaluating and interpreting data and metrics
* Manage KPI’s and report performance to Managing Director as appropriate
* Provide direction and leadership to keep employees focused and encourage maximum performance
