Trainee Investment Manager / Graduates

TRAINEE INVESTMENT MANAGER:

Due to the creation of a new role, a business based in Leicester now have the full time requirement for an Trainee Investment Manager who’s ambitions are within the field of Private Financial Services. To attract only the very best of candidate, we are holding an assessment day (to be confirmed) to understand candidates skill sets and future prospects/ambitions for Financial Services.

To note, this role full time basis with the potential for internal progression. You can expect to be involved with all aspects of Investment Administration and Management, supporting the back office teams and dealing with client queries. Additionally, this role would ideally suit a candidate who would like their first Permanent position within financial services from University Graduation, that is also ambitious, passionate to want to learn about Investment/Portfolio’s and a hard worker.

WORKING HOURS:

– 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Full time 9.00am – 5.30pm
– Permanent contract

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:

– Maintain, Manage and design existing and new client Investment Portfolios in line with client agreements.
– Portfolio involvement for both advisory and client discretionary
– Re-weighting and re balancing of portfolios in line with asset allocation, fund selection and the placing of deals.
– All administrative duties where requires

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR THIS VACANCY:

– Any Administration experience within financial services (desirable) OR exposure to a professional office environment
– Numeric and passionate about finance/Investments/Portfolios/Bonds and a quick learner
– An excellent manner, intelligent
– 2:1 Degree OR First in either Maths or Accounting & Finance (other subjects will be considered)
