Senior Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £26,000 per year

Aylin White has been approached by an established M&E sub-contractor to recruit for their in-house design team. They are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers who have experience in commercial fit outs.

THE COMPANY

• Well-established M&E sub-contractor that provides the design, installation, and commissioning of M&E systems to working sectors.
• Created projects that include commercial, data centres and education, with a turnover of £200m.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design of large projects, liaising with other members of the team.
• Need to have good knowledge of the duties and obligations that will be placed upon the upcoming projects as defined by the scope of works.
• Provide good quality and clarity through written and oral communication throughout the role within the office.
• Must be willing to work in the office five days a week, opportunity for sight work too.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• Must have experience in Cat-A and Cat-B fitout, experience in using HVAC and Hevacomp.
• Experience in a client facing role or consultancy background, to become successful in the design team.
• Have a background working on commercial projects, and ideally data centre experience this is preferable and not essential.

REMUNERATION

• £5,000 car allowance
• Travel covered to the office
• Private healthcare provided, as well as a gym membership
• Pension scheme
• 10% bonus (maybe applicable)
