Machine Operator – Sherbun Hill
COMPANY OUTLINE
Our client based in Sherbun Hill are a specialist manufacturer of Wood products, who are urgently looking for a Machine Operator from a heavy industry background.
THE ROLE
The role would suit an experienced machine operator who has experience working in a heavy industry background. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with wood products.
THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS
– Experience of handling heavy wood materials
– Must be physically fit, as the role requires manual loading and unloading and handling heavy products
– Experience on working with simple computer programmes to input data
– A valid forklift truck counter balance licence would be advantageous, but not essential to the role
– Must be able to use your initiative
SALARY AND BENEFITS
– £26,000 per year, depending upon experience including shift allowance
– Weekly Productivity bonus on top of hourly rate
– On the job training may be provided, depending upon candidate experience
HOURS OF WORK AND TYPE OF CONTRACT
– Temporary to permanent role
– 40 hours a week plus Overtime opportunities
– Permanent night shift – 10pm-6am, Monday – Friday
