Trainee Property Consultant

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Trainee Property Consultant position in the trendy Shoreditch area; offering a £26,000base salary + up to 10% commissions and an OTE of £30k.

• This position offers the opportunity for sales-minded individuals seeking the training and hands-on experience to build a long-term career in the London property sector with an established and upmarket multi-branch estate agency brand

• Previous estate agency experience is NOT required. Full training will be provided

• A driving license / your own car is NOT required as a company Uber account is supplied for property viewings. 

To be considered for this Trainee Property Consultant position, you should have: 

• A strong interest in estate agency and at least 6mos of previous sales experience in any other industry including any experience in hospitality
• Familiarity with East London is an advantage

Benefits Include:

• Basic Salary: £20,000 – Depending on experience. 
• Commissions: 8% up to £100k banked and 10%  above £100k
• OTE (On Target Earnings):  £30,000
• Car Not Required: viewings done with the comany Uber account / public transport/ bikes
• Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm. Every third Saturday per month 10am to 4pm

Job Description:

• In this role you will be responsible for regular communication with clients, negotiating offers between the homeowners (vendors), buyers, landlords and prospective tenants, and delivering exceptional customer service both face to face and over the phone.

• At a minimum, they ask that you are passionate about sales, building a career in the property sector providing the most exceptional customer journey to all their landlords and tenants. 

• The main purpose of the role is to generate and book valuations, conduct property viewings, negotiate offers, and progress tenancies to move-in and sales from exhange of contracts to completion.

Daily Duties Responsibilities: 

• Answering the telephone, professionally and politely. 
• Qualifying prospective buyers / tenants to company standards, arranging viewings, booking valuations
• Undertaking accompanied viewings with prospective tenants / buyers
• Following up viewings the next day and reporting structured feedback to our landlords / vendors
• Researching the market and apprising landlords / vendors and prospective tenants / buyers of current market conditions
• Negotiating offers to acceptance between vendors / landlords and prospective tenants / buyers
