Job role: HGV Workshop Supervisor
Location: Oldbury
HGV Workshop Supervisor role on offer with a growing commercial vehicle hire organisation that will offer an excellent challenge and the ability to progress your career as a manager.
Having been recognised for its excellent quality of service they have won new contracts and have invested heavily in state of the art equipment within their depots.
Leading a maintenance team and making decisions to achieve optimum efficiency; this role combines hands on maintenance and supervision of staff. It is ideally suited to a HGV workshop supervisor looking to lead a team whilst improving their man management skills.
The role:
Co-ordinate all maintenance activity.
Overseeing a team of Technicians.
Develop the skill base of all maintenance engineers.
Look at continuous improvements.
The person required:
Experience with health and safety systems
Computer Literate
Self Starter
Man Manager
Supervisory / team leader experience.
Maintenance experience and knowledge of Commercial Vehicles
Self-motivated and thrive under pressure.
In return, the successful HGV Workshop Supervisor can expect to earn a salary of £33,600 per annum with overtime and bonus available.
