Salary: £39,600 – £45,600 per year
Diesel Plant Fitter *Market Leading Pay Rates* + Van
We are recruiting a Diesel Plant Fitter with our client who specialise in construction services working on projects across the UK & Ireland.
Suitable candidates will need strong diesel mechanic skills, preferably on plant machinery however we will also consider HGV Mechanical experience.
Combination of workshop and field service work across sites, making sure the fleet of machinery is maintained to a high standard.
Top end pay rates with the added perk of Van home saving fuel costs.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and repairs across varied fleet of plant machinery
- Diagnose faults accurately and take corrective action
- Strip and test engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems
- Refurb and rebuilds of machinery
- Fitting parts correctly
- Routine maintenance and inspections
- Repairs to machine electrical systems
What we are looking for
- Level 3 in Plant / HGV / Vehicle Repair
- Proven experience on diesel engines/ mechanical repairs
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Full driving license
