Residential Conveyancer

Salary: £26,000 – £33,423 per year

We are working with a modern, forward thinking, and well-established Firm, which is based across two offices in Devon and specialises in offering a range of legal services including Conveyancing, Litigation, Family law, Commercial and Wills and Probate. The Firm are planning to expand and evolve longer term and currently have several opportunities for various disciplines. This is the chance for the right candidate to be part of this exciting new phase in the Firm’s future.

The role:

The Firm urgently needs a residential Conveyancer, who will be based in their Newton Abbot Office and will be running a busy and varied caseload. There is existing work ready for the right candidate to benefit from. You will be dealing with all residential property matters to include freehold and leasehold transactions, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, help to buy, re-mortgage and equity transactions.

This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with hybrid working offered.

The requirements:

• A qualified and experienced residential Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer (the firm are open minded as to level of experience provided you have the qualities required to fulfil the role.
• Self motivation, being passionate about your work.
• An ability to organise and prioritise your work with a proven track record of being able to handle +60 files.
• Determination and drive to excel within a modern firm and deliver exceptional client service).
• An ability to work well on your own individual caseload as well as part of a team and to work with other fee earners is essential.

The Firm will provide a structure of tools, both technical and administrative, and support to help you to succeed in your role.

Any commercial experience would be welcomed but not essential.
