Machine Setter / Operator

Our successful client is one of the leading performers in its sector. The company has been a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of office furniture, office storage and office seating for 40 years. As the company continues to grow they are now looking for new members to add to their team working in their production warehouse. There is training available and candidates who display the right attitude can seize the opportunity to grow within this business.

Hours:

Day shift – Mon to Thurs: 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 15:00

*
Night shift – Monday to Wednesday 19:30 to 07.30 and Thursday 16:00 to 22:00

*
Weekend night shift – Friday to Sunday 19:30 to 07:30

Salary: £26,000depending on skillset and experience.

We are looking for between 2 and 5 candidates to add to their team

Duration: Temp to Perm or Contract

Role: Candidates will be involved in Machine Operating, Machine Setting and Machine Programming. The company uses such machinery as Amada, Salvagnini Punch Machine and Salvagnini Automatic Panel Bender so any experience with these is beneficial.

There is also FLT counterbalance work so a valid license is desirable.

Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of machine operating/setting within a manufacturing environment. All candidates must have an ethos of quality and ensure that quality checking is required on all roles.

There will be heavy lifting involved, please also be aware this is a noisy environment.

There are clean and modern changing facilities for all staff.
