Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year
Summary:
Reqiva are working with a Central London based media company who have created a new position for a systems developer / DevOps engineer to join a small team that are tasked with range of products for the company. The team consists of Developers and Systems administrators and this role is crucial to bringing the project together.
Role and Responsibilities:
*Advise on systems performance and how best to optimise and improve processes
*Integrate internal production environment into wider global systems
*Setting up software on servers
*Collaborate on infrastructure projects as a software and tools expert
*Troubleshoot and fix internally developed systems and their dependencies
*Investigate, propose and deploy tools and middleware that improve management, automation and service delivery.
Skills and Experience:
*Unix/Linux Systems Administration
*Experience automating deployments
*Wide range of scripting languages
*Experience automating deployments
*Configuration management (Chef, Puppet)
*Docker
*Virtualisation
*Configuration and deployment of web servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat)
*Server side web development (Node/Python/Ruby)
