jjFOX are recruiting for a Supervisor to run the shop floor of a tool-making aerospace company. The company, based in Bristol, manufacture one-off jigs to support the maintenance of aeroplanes. They have had impressive growth results for the last few years, and are now looking to add a shop-floor Supervisor/Foreman to their close-knit team.

The permanent role will be based in their site in Bristol, and will involve working a standard factory week including a short Friday. This challenging role will involve overseeing a team of welders, and CNC machinists, ensuring that the quality inspector is producing accurate reports, and liaising with the senior management team to ensure all targets are being hit at the correct times.

This Supervisor will need the following skills:

 Inspecting tools made off-spec
 Overseeing the tool room production
 Ensuring that all items produced are of the highest standard
 Working in accordance to ISO9000

The ability to get very “hands-on” with the team and be versatile with your job description is necessary. A background working with prototyping or one-off productions is extremely desirable. Ideally you will have an experienced background in either quality or production and/or have a formal engineering qualification. A strong determination to achieve targets on time is desirable. The successful Supervisor applicant can expect a Salary: £26,000 – £30,000with benefits.
