Retail Village Manager

Rainforest Cafe’s Retail Village is where the Adventure truly begins!

We only get one chance to make a first impression, and retail is the key part at the start and end of the customer experience which sees us welcome over 500,000 guests into the restaurant and almost 1 million customers into the shop per year.

Having been established in Piccadilly Circus for 17 years, our shop is the go-to place alongside other West End toy shops as well as an integral part of the restaurant customers experience. Open every day of they year except Christmas Day, we are recruiting for a strong Retail Manager to join our unique and dynamic team.

You will be responsible for a team of 10-12 members of staff and must be a confident self starter who is comfortable at leading a team and inspiring them to interact with customers and give that memorable first impression and last goodbye.

You will need to have a minimum of 3 years retail management experience, ideally in the West End/London, and have good working knowledge of financial data, stocktaking, personnel/HR and staff motivation.

You will also need to have a good demonstrable experience of merchandising, window displays, pricing and promotional offers, as well as being confident, outgoing, a good communicator and hands-on as we believe in leadership by example.
