We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager for our client with a £55 million turnover (so you’ll have worked in a similar sized organisation)

As well as managing the day-to-day accounting and financial events of this successful company – you will also be charged with the effective management of a small team of people – with big personalities!

The role is diverse – and you’ll have responsibility for –

* Overseeing all daily, weekly and monthly tasks for the department and ensuring timely completion
* Reviewing procedures and implementing performance improvement where considered necessary
* Preparing monthly management accounts (using Sage Line 50) up to trial balance stage for review by external accountants

You’ll be reporting to the general manager, external consultant and the managing director as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff in the department to further their career and develop their skills.

You’ll be a key player in helping to review the company performance in key areas and making recommendations to management. No doubt you’ll be a strong (really strong) manager of people and able to maximise both the performance and efficiency.

You’ll be capable of both undertaking tasks from the ground up as well as being able to show your people and leadership skills that demonstrate a hands off management style to get the best out of the team.
