Job Role: Import Clerk – Immediate start
Location: Derby
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000per yeardependant on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30-5 with an early finish Friday
Harper Recruitment Group and working in partnership with a leading manufacturer based in Derby. We are looking for an experienced Import Clerk to manage and develop the supplier relationships.
What will the role involve?
Instruct a global network of agent, suppliers, shipping and hauliers
Duty & VAT calculation
Build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service
Ensure pre-alert documents are on hand prior to vessel arrival
Collect all correct documentation
Process supplier invoices
Weekly and monthly forecast reportingPerson Specification:
Experience within a similar role
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
