Employment Opportunities for Former Probation Officers

Servoca resourcing is a recruitment organisation that specialises in placing people in to temporary and permanent roles within the criminal justice system.

Several of our clients are interested in employing former probation officers on interim contracts. We are currently working with several clients who are looking to bring in probation officers who have been out of the service for up to 8 years, then providing training to refresh them on the changes to the systems being used internally.

We very much welcome applicants whose ultimate goal is to re join probation as either a temporary or permanent employee.

To qualify you must comply with the following

Minimum 3 Year’s experience in a Probation Officer Role
A recognised Probation Qualification e.g. DipPS, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent.
Have not worked in the Probation service for at least 2 years and up to a maximum of 8 yrs
Are willing and want to take up temporary employment contracts as a probation officer within your local region, or anywhere further afield if you are flexible with travel
Are able to give one weeks notice to take up a temporary contract as a probation officer
Have no criminal record (a DBS will be taken up)
Have not been dismissed from a probation officer role
This is an excellent opportunity to re-enter the offender management sector.
