Playground Installer – Team Leader

Salary: £31,800 – £36,464 per year

We are recruiting for an experienced Team Leading Playground Installer who will be assembling and installing outside learning / play equipment in schools, nurseries, academies, public spaces, new build housing development and other outdoor areas.

The Playground Installation Team Leader will be working mostly within the North West, there will be the occasional need to stay away and if there is a specific requirement to travel further afield to install the play equipment.

You will be working from design plans to install a wide variety of timber and steel play and outdoor learning equipment.

This will include:

* Installing play and outdoor learning equipment (including ground preparation).

* Landscaping around the playground installation.

* Liaising with clients on site.

* Following the installation instructions and design drawings to ensure correct placement of equipment.

* Taking receipt of materials on site.

To be considered you must have:

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Play equipment installation experience.

* An understanding of Health & Safety and the assessment and control of risk.

* Experience of using excavators, dumpers and ideally telehandlers.

* Be happy to travel and as required stay away.

* A CSCS card (or be willing to take the test – current cost for that is £22).
