Web Designer

A well-established fashion organisation is continuously expanding and therefore seeking a Web Designer to assist with producing online concepts and styles! This is a new position within the business and therefore offers huge room for career progression and is a great chance to further your skillset within a team of Senior Web Designers.

THE ROLE:
This is an opportunity that will sit within a dynamic and busy marketing department. You will be responsible for helping to produce and evolve the overall web output and act as a consultant with regards to what can be achieved on an online basis. You will need to be engaging, proactive and have the ability to manage a variety of projects whilst always bringing new ideas to the table.
Responsibilities;
• Update the website on a regular basis to reflect marketing and product changes
• Develop a range of creative material: direct marketing, email campaigns, banners and editorial content
• Ensure all other digital material is consistent with the web; banners, display ads and emails
• Work with the e-commerce team to creative offline materials such as graphics
• Assist the Senior Web Designer with the design of image development
• Build a professional working partnership with your customers and give constructive feedback on everything from design to copy consistency across the web and emails
• Works proactively to improve consistency, organisation, delivery and designs of all existing digital output
• Development of HTML pages including editorial content

THE CANDIDATE:
• Extensive experience in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, HTML and CSS
• Experience hand-coding HTML emails and building in Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of Flash
• Fashion retail experience on an online basis is vital
• A thorough understanding of websites and emerging technologies
