Extra Drivers are recruiting for HGV shunter to work at our client in Barton under Needwood, near Burton on Trent. As a HGV shunter you will undertake yard shunting on either a day or night shift operating a Terberg unit. For class 1 drivers who have held your license for a minimum of 12 months training on a Terberg unit can be provided.

Day shifts are 0600 to 1800 and night shifts are 1800 to 0600. Each shift pays a guaranteed 11.5 hours.

A HGV Shunter will need:

A valid class 1 license
A valid CPC and tacho card
No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s, IN’s)
To have held your license for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposesA HGV Shunter will receive:
