Picker / Warehouse Operative

Our client is known as the UKs leading IT manufacturer. Specialising in supply to the public sector, our client manufactures their own brand goods of pcs, laptops, notebooks and audio equipment as well as acting on behalf of other leading brands. Based in the Stafford location, our client is easily accessible by bus routes in the Stafford location. The hours of work are standardly 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime available on Saturdays during busy periods. The site is has car parking, fully serviced canteen and locker rooms. This is a highly reputable firm seeking individuals for temporary and temporary to permanent positions. We are currently recruiting for Order Pickers The purpose of the Picking department is to accurately pick the components required to be fed to the assembly lines.
Automated scanning systems are in place and you will be trained to undertake following duties: Order picking – Manual and computerized order picking of products
Line Feeding
Stock Control
The hours of work are 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday with potential for overtime on Saturdays.
Applicants should be familiar with Warehouse and Order Picking – experience in the use of scanning systems.
Salary is at national minimum wage.
