Commercial Analyst

Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

An expanding business based on the outskirts of Chertsey is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their well established business. This role would suit a qualified Accountant with strong demonstrable experience in Financial Analysis.

Commercial Analyst- About the role

You will be a part of and support the Commercial Team to drive growth and profitability through analysis, planning and administration of pricing and reimbursement processes. Key duties include: 

• Produce and maintain/update sales tracking tools and dashboard to monitor customer & product pricing, margin and distributor performance
• Develop sales forecasting process and tools to support planning cycles 
• Tracking and support of deal models post acquisition 
• Internal analysis and reporting of external market intelligence reports 
• Management and tracking of matrix pricing and profitability by customers and product
• Launch Tracking and administration of products
• Maintain/develop intelligence platform and submissions on yearly basis
• Continued competitive analysis of pricing and product focus
• Standardised weekly, monthly and quarterly reports development

It is essential you have a proven track record of business and customer analysis combined with strong financial analysis skills. Sales and/or marketing analysis-based experience within a commercial environment is an advantage. Other key skills include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High standard of organisational skills, including time/project management skills
• Self-starter and results orientated and fully accountable 
• Expertise in Excel, Access and of bespoke software packages, such as Power BI
• Ability to share and explain data in an engaging format to business
• Agile thinker who can adapt to situations in an enviroment of continuous change and growth
