Driver Hire
Salary: £31,200 per year
5 days pay for a 4 day week.

Our client is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Dustcart Driver/Loader to join their team on a temporary to permanent or ongoing temporary (if preferred) basis in the Chelmsford area TO START IMMEDIATELY!
Working on the recycling and waste collection rounds you will be required to successfully lead a small team of refuse loaders to collect waste and recycling in the HGV 2 vehicle from residential and commercial properties. Work is to be completed efficiently and you must ensure the daily rounds are completed.
As a Loader you will be required to prep the collection of the waste and load the Class 2 Bin Lorry as and when required. Due to this, the ideal candidate will be physically fit as the role will involve lots of walking, vehicle loading, heavy lifting of sacks and pushing/pulling of loaded wheeled bins/containers in all weather conditions.

Role Requirements:
- Attention to detail and care – You will be driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle in residential areas; therefore you must be able to demonstrate the ability to reverse and manoeuvre in tricky areas with precision and care.
- Complete daily rounds as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Complete daily vehicle checks in line with our client’s procedures and H&S requirements
Working hours:
Tuesday to Friday
6:30am/7am start
Contracted 37 hours a week but the days are job and finish.
Overtime occasionally available
On permanent basis you will receive 32 days holiday (inc bank holidays) rising to 37 days holiday (inc bank holidays) after 5 years continuous service.

£13 – £14.57*
