About the client:
My client offers a therapeutic service, specialising in vulnerable, young people with social, behaviour, emotional and psychological issues. They are a registered residential young people’s home, based in Crawley, West Sussex. They have great facilities and pride themselves on offering these vulnerable young people a place to learn, socialise and develop.
About the role:
You will be supporting the young people with daily tasks, activities, school events, school work, classes or days out. This can all vary and no day is the same. Your goal will be to help these kids become more confident, independent and help them prepare for adulthood. You will engage them in activities, talk to them, encourage them and support them in their daily life.
About you:
As a Registered Support Worker, you will be:
Proactive
Flexible with hours
Must have a clean full UK driving license
Candidates must be 5 years older than the oldest resident (23+)
Confident
Must have at least 1 year working with young people
Caring nature
