Ev Electrician / Ev Installer

Salary: £42,000 per year

EV Installers wanted to join a long-established company embarking on an exciting new chapter in their history!

The role is to act as an EV Electrician installing Electric Vehicle Charging Points, as well as battery, PV, meters and general electrical works.

This is a field based role and will entail visiting customer properties to carry out installations in the local area. It will be the EV Electrician’s responsibility to make sure EV installations are carried out effectively and safely, in line with legislation and industry standards. Completion of installation certificates (EIC) is also to be done.

Duties:

* EV charge point installation and testing

* Completing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

* Carrying out all EV installation works to a high standard

* Completing all relevant documentation

* Ensuring adherence to health and safety

* Reporting on progress of works to Electrical Supervisor

* Working closely with other team members and departments when required

* Adhering to company policies and standards at all times

Experience and Qualifications:

* Experience as an Electrician installing EV charge points is essential

* Qualified Electrician

* Design and Verification of Electrical Systems – NVQ Level 3

* BS7671 18th Edition – C&G 2382-18

* Electric Vehicle Installations – C&G 2919

* C&G 2391 or equivalent (EIC / ECIR)

* Member of Electrical Engineering Professional Body – CSCS JIB / ECS (Gold Card) (Desirable)

* Member or an awarding body such as NAPIT, NICEIC, STROMA, ELECSA (Desirable)

* SSSTS (Desirable)

* MOCOPA
