Service Engineers (Wind Turbine)

Founded in 1986, Cyrus Selection’s’ Client are a family run wind turbine manufacturer whose main business is the development, production and sale of wind energy converters, as well as license giving of their own products within the UK and abroad.

In this job, you will be part of a technical service team and will perform day to day servicing, maintenance and component replacement on Our Clients wind turbines.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

* Follow up errors and repair faults to maximise turbine availability for customers
* Periodic service inspections in accordance to customer contracts, component replacements, upgrades and maintenance of the turbines are the core requirements of this position
* You will have a good head for heights as well as the stamina to perform the job requirement on a regular basis.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely according to the safety and environmental standards

Our Client is ideally looking to speak with time serviced candidates with a Mechanical bias with experience of servicing and maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Candidates with rotating plant experience will be considered highly desirable.

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience of servicing and maintaining electrical industrial plant (including knowledge and experience of mechanical rotating plant)
* ONC level or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
* Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations
* Excellent communication skills
* Essential you have previous experience of working within the Wind Power industry
* Literate and numerate, with good IT skills
* Full current driving license

In addition, you must also be comfortable working at height and demonstrate a flexible working attitude as you will be required to travel as part of this role.
