Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Water Treatment Technician to join the UK No.1 specialist of Water Treatment and Water Hygiene. Working as a Water Treatment Technician, this will see you travelling across Edinburgh and surrounding areas if required.

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out inspections on tanks and cooling towers across various sites
Servicing of TMV’s
Cleaning and disinfecting of cold-water tanks and Cooling Towers
Carrying out small maintenance works and repairs
Basic sampling, temperature monitoring and recording
Monitoring of the pre-post chlorination of the cooling towers
Chlorination of buildings and pipework
Ensuring that all documentation is completed and compliant.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

A strong background of working within the water treatment industry
Experience of being the lead person on tank cleans and TMV servicing
Knowledge of taking water treatment samples and carrying out inspections
Previous plumbing experience would be ideal
A DBS check is required for this position
