Data Scientist

Salary: £43,200 – £55,200 per year

* The development, adaptation and testing of algorithms across the product and solutions range, which includes

* Developing state-of-the art Smartgrid technology applications

* Identifying suitable machine learning models on a project by project basis

* The design and delivery of software including coding of deliverables

* Developing highly scalable algorithms and tools leveraging machine learning, data regression, and systems optimisation

* Suggesting, collecting and synthesizing requirements and creating effective feature roadmap

To be considered for the Data Scientist role you will be need to:

* Be educated to PhD level or equivalent in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or similar

* Have two years post doctorial research in machine learning, statistical signal processing, or a similar field; or equivalent industrial experience

* Have familiarity with the MathWorks toolchain

* Have the ability to program in Matlab or Python is essential

* Have an enquiring mind and a disciplined scientific approach to extracting facts and understanding observed behaviour

* Able to create and deploy machine learning pipelines

* Have an understanding of power systems and signal processing
