Social Media and Marketing Assistant

Our client based in Stoke on Trent are pleased to offer the role of Social Media and Marketing Executive based at their local site.

The role is working Monday to Friday Office Hours, and offers a Salary: £26,000per year DOE.

The goal is to develop superior customer engagement and intimacy increasing website traffic and revenue by exploiting all aspects of social media marketing.

The preferred candidate will be well versed in social media applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn etc, using a business oriented social approach. Candidates should also be comfortable working face to face with our business customers, advising and supporting them with their own Social Media initiatives.

Ideally the candidate should have website management knowledge as part of their duties will be to maintain company websites using pre-built administration tools such as WordPress.

The Marketing department is part of a busy sales office so the candidate must be able to work under pressure and in a timely fashion in assisting the Marketing Manager’s wider objectives.

Required Skills
Good working knowledge of the main social media platforms.
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
Good working knowledge of web administration.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.
Some knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator would be beneficial, but not vital.
