IT Support Engineer
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be supporting the IT Manager, providing technical and software support to the business. This will include supporting users remotely with a variety of IT issues, onboarding new starters, building and deploying laptops for new joiners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Excellent knowledge of both hardware and software packages
* Have experience of Dynamics NAV support – resolving errors and queries
* Provide 1st / 2nd line support
* Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PC’s
* Hardware and software maintenance (refresh / renewals)
* Setting up / removing users and disabling accounts in Active Directory
* Managing small projects from inception to completion
* Monitoring / fault finding, patching servers
Person Specification:
* Ability to manage a variety of workloads and responsibilities in a fast-moving environment
* Initiative to work autonomously with responsibility for productivity
* Flexible, diligent thinker with excellent analytical skills
* Own car and drivers’ licence
* Like animals due to office pets
Experience:
* Nav Experience, essential
* Microsoft 365 Admin
* Active Directory Admin
* MS Office experience
* General IT knowledge and support
* Project experience
* Hyper-V experience
* Networking knowledge
* Apple experience
