Civil Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive

Salary: £38,400 per year

We are working with a modern, forward thinking, and well-established Firm, which is based across two offices in Devon and specialises in offering a range of legal services including Conveyancing, Litigation, Family law, Commercial and Wills and Probate. The Firm are planning to expand and evolve longer term and currently have several opportunities for various disciplines. This is the chance for the right candidate to be part of this exciting new phase in the Firm’s future.

The role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Firm as a Litigator based in the Civil Litigation Team in the Newton Abbot office. You will be dealing in a wide range of matters to include civil litigation, commercial litigation, and property litigation.

This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with hybrid working offered.

The requirements:

• A qualified Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive with ideally a minimum of +1 years PQE (although applications from different levels of PQE will be considered). 
• An ability to demonstrate detailed knowledge, a solid academic understanding and technical expertise in dealing with your caseload.
• Self motivation and being passionate about your work.
• Determination and drive to excel within a modern firm and deliver exceptional client service.
• An ability to organise and prioritise your work.
• The ability to work effectively on your own individual caseload as well as part of a team and with other fee earners is essential.
