Electronic Machine Operative

We are seeking an Electronic Mechanical Repair Operative. The candidate is required to be neat, methodical and have a well organised approach to work. Capable of working unsupervised in a happy, hard-working team in a growing company in Harrogate. Must have excellent eyesight, and colour vision. This position is within our general manufacturing works will include general manufacturing and assembly work, operating machines and ensuring quality standards are met.

Role and Responsibilities:
Mechanical and electrical assembly
Repair of cable insertion systems
Assembly of parts manufactured in house
Final test and quality testing, stock control,
packaging and shipping,
Record keeping/general administration

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
A good general standard of education and ideally a relevant engineering qualification

Preferred Skills:
Have proven skills in electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering
Be able to solder neatly and use a wide range of tools
Have the ability to recognise everyday electronic and mechanical components and systems
Be able to repair cable systems
Be able to use basic electronic test equipment (multi-meters, continuity testers, etc)

Experience:
Proven experience working within a similar environment, both as part of a team and using own initiative and have the ability to thrive in a changing environment.
