Prison Substance Misuse Nurse

Our client has a locum job vacancy in West Midlands for a prison substance misuse nurse. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is as follows;
– £31.2 per hour for weekdays (limited company worker)
– £29 per hour for nights and Saturdays (limited company worker)
– £32 per hour for Sundays (limited company worker)

Duties:
– Administering controlled medication used in drug detoxification
– Undertaking comprehensive assessments and developing programmes of care for clients with substance misuse issues
– Completing reception screens for new clients
– Working days, nights and weekends on a rota basis

Requirements:
All applicants must be a registered mental health nurse (part 3 or 13) with a valid, up-to-date pin and have at least 2 years recent experience working within substance misuse. Current prison clearance is essential.
