The Role
An exciting Biopharmaceutical company focused in Immuno-Oncology are looking to recruit a Senior Scientist to assist in establishing a qualified team to facilitate in Vivo trial planning, management and data collection for the appropriate project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* As leader of a small team you’ll be based in the Pharmacology unit and be primarily involved in experiment involving preclinical murine models of disease
* Act as the main point of contact and expertise for their laboratory based scientists
* Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper controls, reagents, resources and techniques are in place before, during and following trials
* Ensure experiment result in robust, high quality data and carry out on-going analysis of the data to identify issues and implement necessary optimisations
* Manage a small team of research associates to produce reliable and robust data sets resulting from trials which you should be able to advise, plan and oversee
* Communicate data and results in the form of summary reports/presentations with interpretation for project meetings and discussions
You
‘ll have a BSc, MSc or PhD in a related scientific subject along with hands on experienced such as IAT Qualification and significant training.
Ideally you’ll be able to demonstrate you’ve had significant hands on experience in the development of In Vivo models, study monitoring and trial design and maintenance as well as techniques associated with these trials.
Other key experience required:
* Office Licence, Modules 1-4 (A, B, C new Format)
* FACs, DNA Manipulation, Cloning, Flow Cytometry
* In Vivo Imaging (IVIS, Ultrasounds)
* Leadership experience within an In Vivo trial environment
