Production Operative – Night Shift

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is currently seeking Production Operatives to join them on a permanent basis at their facility on the outskirts of Pontefract. We are keen to speak to candidates with experience operating machinery including packing lines in a food manufacturing environment or similar.

The successful candidates will work 38 hours per week, 5-day week, working Monday to Thursday 9.50pm to 6.05am and Friday 4.50pm to 9.50pm.

In return you will receive £26,000 per yearour, the opportunity to earn up £26,000 per yearr upon completion of necessary training, an excellent non-contributory pension scheme of 8% and generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Working knowledge of a Food Manufacturing Environment
* Experience operating machinery, including packing lines
* Basic understanding of quality awareness and food hygiene standards
* Ability to understand basic instructions and work to SOP’s / SWP’s
* Need to follow and adhere Health and Safety procedures and practices
* Achieve grade C or above in numeracy and literacy in the relevant SHL tests
