Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

A leading Educational Services provider is seeking to recruit Early Years Inspectors to inspect Nurseries across Central, South East and South West London.

The role is home based with frequent travel and a drivers licence and car is essential. The Early Years Inspector will be responsible for all types of Inspections, such as Routine Inspections, Registration Inspections and Compliance Inspections in a range of Early Years environments including Domestic, Non Domestic and School settings.

Leadership and Management within the early years sector is vital, and we are keen to attract candidates from an eclectic background including Nursery Managers, Nursery/ Early Years Teachers, Early Years College Lecturers and Local Authority Early Years Support Advisors.

Although this post is London based, you must be available to attend an interview in Bristol on 10th November. If you cannot met this requirement, please do not apply.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To undertake a full range of inspection visits and regulation activities, ensuring the work improves the outcomes for young children and the quality meets the high standards set.
To undertake a range of high quali-ty inspection and regulatory visits in accordance with Ofsted’s inspec-tion framework and to check compliance with requirements for registration.
To gather secure evidence and produce high quality reports within required timeframes which meet required volumes targets and ex-pectations for high quality outcomes.
To adhere to Ofsted’s Code of Conduct and Framework for Inspection.
To respond promptly to requests for information relating to quality assurance or complaints.
To take part in case conferences as required by Ofsted.
To participate in meetings and training events across the inspection region as required.
To adhere to responsibilities under health and safety legislation and policies.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

A recognised and relevant Early Years Degree.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and understand of all legal requirements
Previous relevant leadership experience.
