10pm to 7am – 5 days from 7 (excluding Saturday night)

The Candidate
Your skills, experiences and attributes will include…
* Experience of managing a fast paced warehouse picking and distribution team
* Experience working in an FMCG / Food etc background would be ideal.
* Good understanding of distribution process
* Excellent communicator
* Man management ability to motivate teams to achieve KPI’s
* IT literate to use all internal computer systems
* Ideally a basic understanding of food hygiene and handling. Training will be provided
* Flexible and adaptable approach with strong analytical skills
* Will have a good understanding of health & safety and adhere to company policy at all times
The Role
The successful candidate will be part of the Senior management team and will be required to manage a large night shift team, 3 managers and 28 picking staff, that is integral to the success of the operation. Duties will include…
* Control the night picking, warehouse and stock management teams
* Recruit, train, develop and retain a functional productive team
* Monitor team and individual performances to ensure that all KPi’s are achieved
* Plan equipment and resourcing, rearrange rotas where appropriate to achieve correct staffing levels
* Communicate with customers as and where appropriate, if and when required.
* Manage productivity levels
* Manage all quality standards to ensure all products are dispatched to a high standard
* Ensure all service standards are achieved
* Able to manage stock checks and adhere to stock check processes daily/weekly/monthly
* Full legal compliance with regards to health and safety legislation
