Warehouse Picker (Afters)

Salary: £26,000 per year

ORB Recruitment are looking for Warehouse Operatives / Picking Operatives to join their busy client in Thorne (DN8)

** This is a temporary to permanent role with a chance of a contract after 12 weeks **

Nights – Monday-Friday (2pm – 10pm)

Pay – £26,000 per year (to be paid weekly)

Overtime paid at 1.5 and double pay on Sundays.

You will be working in a warehouse and your duties will be the following;

• Undertake all warehouse duties as assigned by the Shift Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager- to include goods in, check in, replenishment, picking, packing and loading – ensuring the correct documentation is utilised
• Work within company security and health & safety procedures to safeguard stock, equipment and colleagues.
• Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment, once trained to do so safely and to company standards, ensuring daily equipment checks are completed and faults reported
• Follow the principles of good housekeeping including cleaning duties and the sorting of loose site equipment
• Participate in stocktaking as required

• This role does involve heavy lifting
