Audit Manager

Salary: £240 – £420 per day

Anderson Knight is working with a big 4 practice firm to recruit an Audit Manager. The role is ideal for a qualified accountant from a small to mid-tier practice firm who has worked in Audit or an individual who is looking for career progression with a big 4 background. The role can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

As a Manager, you’ll lead a team of forward-thinking individuals to deliver high quality audits. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge into how businesses run, gain direct access to internal stakeholders and clients and work with an unrivalled range of organisations.

The main responsibilities the Audit Manager position entails are:

* Leading multi-location teams, using your team and relationship management skills to ensure the delivery of high quality audit work

* Building connections across teams and specialist areas internally

* Leading on the completion of areas of complex or judgemental audit work which includes the identification of issues and analysis of data

* Managing the financial and resource aspects of Audit engagements

* Supporting your team’s technical and personal development

In order to be considered for the role you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* A background in Audit

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
