Building Services Maintenance Shift Engineer

My client is currently offering an excellent opportunity to work in one of London’s most prestigious and iconic landmarks as a Shift Engineer.

The job role;

To provide all-round engineering support maintaining the infrastructure of the building, complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice, ensuring that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Shift Leader.

– Continental shift pattern of 12 hour shifts

– PPM Completion
– Incident reports
– Shift changeover log to be completed at end of each shift
– Issue work permits when required
– BMS
– Control Systems
– AC, FCU’s,, Splits, Wet & Dry Systems
– AHU’s
– Boilers and Heating systems
– Generators and Controls
– AC & DC single phase and three phase motors
– UPS System and assisted controls
– Emergency Lighting

Skills & Knowledge required;

– An approved apprenticeship/Qualification
– Demonstrate a good understanding and be technically competent in all Building Services, in particular; UPS, Generators, Static Switches, Water Treatment, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
– Knowledge of 17th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
– MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING SHIFTS
